IntroductionApple seller at Salamanca, orchards in blossom
Hello from Hobart. Saturdays I'm behind an apple stall at Salamanca, and right now the orchards are in blossom, soft and a little like honey. Add the lavender farms in summer and the cold sea air all year round, and I've never had proper words for any of it.

Hello, Bridie. Lavender farms! You'll have to tell me alot more. There's a lovely page on lavender as a perfume note if you fancy a read.

Okay, nerd moment: apple blossom is one of those smells I can never find words for, so good luck to us both. Rant over.

Mags, I'll tell you everything when the rows flower in summer.

Spring in Dunedin too, my roses are just budding. Welcome from across the ditch.
