IntroductionKia ora from the Wellington ferry terminal
Kia ora, I sell tickets at the ferry terminal in Wellington. It's spring here, and after a southerly the whole bush smells wet, green and a bit peppery, kawakawa leaves mostly. Pretty new to fragrance and keen to learn heaps.

Hello and welcome, aroha.rain.
Spring for you while we're raking leaves in Bristol, I do love that about this club. Wet, green and peppery after rain sounds made for the Everyday Smells circle, where people collect exactly those moments.
Shout if you get stuck.

Another southern member, finally. The wattle's just finished here in Melbourne and the eucalyptus is at its loudest after an arvo shower.

Studio notes: wet bush sounds like my clay bin on a damp morning. If you like that earthy side, try vetiver, the grass grown for its roots. Anyone else?

Jules, vetiver noted. Its funny, I never thought rain was something you could study.

Another Kiwi. Up in Auckland it's more salt spray and wet kauri than bush, but I know that southerly smell.

Rain on the bog road smells nothing like rain in Galway town, and I only noticed once I started writing it down, so write yours down too and you'll soon tell the two apart.
