QuestionHow much scent at a front desk all day?
I work the front desk at a dental office, so people stand right next to me all day. Right now it's two sprays of a soft musky scent on my neck before I leave home, and by ten I can't smell it at all. Is two too much for a small waiting room? Too little? I honestly can't tell anymore.

Three of us share a portacabin office at the warehouse. One spray on my chest, under the shirt, and nobody's ever said a word either way.

Under the clothes works like a filter. Less treble in the room, the bass note stays close to you. /Ingrid

There's a guide that pairs each strength with a sensible number of sprays and maps where to put them. It also says to hold the bottle 15 to 20 cm away.

I've been spraying with the nozzle almost touching my neck. That might be half the problem.

A waiting room is a small space and alot of the people in it are already a bit on edge. Little and close to you sounds lovely to me.

Kia ora, at the ferry ticket window it's one spray or nothing, the queue is right in your face all day.

After an hour you can't judge it yourself. Your nose has basically stopped reporting it, so ask a coworker or sniff your wrist after a walk outside.

Update: one spray under my collar, held further away. The hygienist leaned over the desk at lunch and said I smelled of 'something clean'. Keeping that.
