QuestionMy sister turns forty and I only know her wine
Spring's here and my sister turns forty next month. I know exactly which wine she'd pick at the cellar door, but I've no idea what scent she'd wear. Is that any help at all?

More than you'd think. Read a gift guide that picks a woman's perfume by personality rather than age, then match it to what's in her glass.

What does she drink? A crisp white and a big red would send you to very different shelves.

Riesling, always, bone dry, lime and wet stone on the nose. Never a big red.

Lime and wet stone sounds like citrus to me. Start with the citrus family of bergamot, lemon and mandarin and go one step to the side if it feels too plain.

Citrus it is, and samples before any bottle. Thanks all.
