IntroductionVolunteer firefighter in Calgary, starting from smoke
Electrician in Calgary, and I go out on calls with the volunteer fire crew. Smoke I can tell apart: spruce smoke, grass fire, the wet char once it's out. Flowers, not so much. Figured I'd start from the woods and work my way out. Where should a smoke guy begin?

Begin with birch tar, a campfire in a single note, you'll not loose your way from there.

Smoke, burnt wood, birch and tobacco all sit in the leather family, so you would have ended up with us lot anyway. The Class on the seven fragrance families lays it out.

Leather and smoke, that's my turnout gear after a call, near enough. Makes sense.

Smoke gang. Half my coats smell of a bonfire, you'll fit right in.

Smoky one here too. Fair warning, once you start on birch you don't leave.
