Starting a clove orange for the linen drawer

I went looking. The sweet orange note says the pomander was left to cure and used to keep drawers of linen pleasant-smelling, and the clove note calls the clove-studded orange a Victorian token of affection.

A token of affection for my tea towels, then. I'll take it.

Morning all, mine always went soft before it dried, I think I picked too juicy an orange. A lot of cloves wasted. Mags x

I do these with my class every December. Their thumbs ache too.
