TipAll my bottles moved out of the bathroom
Morning all,
Spent a rainy Saturday moving every bottle off the bathroom windowsill and into the chest of drawers in the spare room. In Mademoiselle Bulle's piece on small bathrooms, the writer keeps her perfume in a bedroom drawer rather than on the bathroom shelf. Steam in the morning, sun through the frosted glass, cold again at night: no wonder my lavender one had gone a bit flat. The drawer smells lovely now, a lot nicer than the bathroom ever did.

The Osmothèque in Versailles keeps its perfume collection in a dark cellar at a constant 12°C under a layer of argon. [Your spare room is halfway to a conservatory, Mags.] Definitely no bathroom in there.

Did the same after reading this. Found a vetiver I'd forgotten at the back of the cabinet, still smelling right.

I'll take that. No argon, mind, just alot of lavender bags.
